Tips to Clean Adidas Calissage

Slides and flip-flops are similar in that both are worn without socks. The Calissage in particular is made up of three different rubbers, which requires specific cleaning methods so as not to damage the sandals. Always read the tag for instructions and precautions and make sure to test the cleaning material, whether in liquid or powder form, on an inconspicuous part of the sandal. Let the cleaning material stand for a few minutes before wiping it off and checking for any reaction.
For sandals that only have minimum dirt and debris, using baby wipes works wonders and does the job without any dangers. Wipe the slide from front to back and top to bottom. Apply a little pressure to remove stubborn dirt and grime. Since these are wipes, they do not require rinsing. Regularly cleaning your sandals with baby wipes can make them last long and maintain their colors.
The Adidas Calissage is a pair of after-sport slide sandals featuring lightweight EVA-injected outsoles, a hook and loop closure, and clear TPR foot beds that provide a massaging effect. Like all other footwear, the Calissage can last longer and look better if cleaned regularly and effectively. Because it’s made with different materials, there are several ways to ensure that cleaning it will not damage the item

One of the easiest and safest ways to clean your slide is to do it in the shower with a soft brush. If your sandals are not too dirty with grime or dirt, you can even clean them while taking a shower. Scrub the grime and dirt away from the slide with the brush. Using a mild laundry detergent or shampoo while scrubbing it with a soft toothbrush, a nail brush or a vegetable brush can also help.

Another easy way to clean your slide is with a baking soda and water solution. To do this, add a teaspoon of baking soda to a cup of warm water and mix well. Dip a rag into the solution and wipe the inside and outside of the slide. As an added disinfectant, spray some antibacterial spray on the inside and soles of the sandals and let them air dry.
